I have an idea how to make Stripo's translation feature even better:
When translating emails with smart elements with a file you can add one more step: Getting Data for all smart links:
– Initial email contains smart elements
– Include saved smart links into the file
– User replaces the links in the file and uploads the files back
– Stripo processes the file and translates everything and then conducts an additional step: Getting data from links indicated in smart elements.
Why it is useful:
– Currently the smart elements feature is twofold:
–– One one hand it is convenient to get the data and save time when creating a single email
–– However, there is always a doubt how to translate emails that have mostly smart elements:
––– Send it for translation and make translators translate pages that they already translated because in most cases if you have a newsletter with products/articles in multiple languages, they are already translated on your website. All you need is just to get the ready text from the page.
––– Or waste your own time on translations – click each card manually, update all links and get data from the links. Plus you would anyway still need to translate the missing not smart elements.
Both cases are not ideal: You either waste translators' time or your own on translating texts that already exist in other languages.
Automating this process would be really great.
