Navigate to Prev or Next email directly from edit screen

I often have a need to open each email in a folder, to test, tweak a link that is not in a module, or otherwise work on a project. It is a multi-click process to get to the next and succeeding emails in a folder that can contain dozens of emails.
The current system requires you go out of edit mode, then wait for the folder to display, then click on the next email, then wait for the edit screen to be served out and display.
It would be convenient and save a lot of time if we could have a way to navigate to the Next or Previous email in a folder directly from the edit screen.

I have a better idea. This one sounds reasonable but it is useful in a specific case only (the folder is limited and you know what email is next and previous). For larger folders you will have to spend time to find something you need.
What can be done: Something like a tree of folders and files in the sidebar. I know you are going to add trees of email elements (blocks/containers/structures etc.). They can be implemented in two sidebar tabs:
– If you select the file structure tab you see the current email tree
– If you select the common project tab you see the folder and file where you are currently located and can choose any other file
– Plus you can decide if you want to alway see the sidebar or hide it. This way you will be able to easily navigate between files in the same folder (but also in other folders)
