Hello Ash!
We would like to provide some feedback regarding your inline images request.
Please be kindly advised that by using the Banner block in the editor, it is possible to add images next to each other without adding them to the structure. In order to do this you should create a Banner block using the drag-n-drop function, add an image as a background to this block and then you can add all the images you need next to each other without gaps between them.
We are also planning to improve this option to allow adding images without the required background image.
Please clarify if this solution is suitable for you?

Marina Kryvenets I don't get that the Banner block can be side by side. I added multiple Banner blocks yet there seems to be no way to set them side by side. how to do that?

Marina Kryvenets You mean the new editor? I tried it but it's not what I want. I want to place img tag elements side by side. not a composite image.

Ash: Thank you for replying.
I have attached a video recording which option I was referring to:
https://www.loom.com/share/f4d94d01c1b84a73b673026f73362b35
If this option doesn't work for you, could you please clarify how the images should look like (just uploaded next to each other without any extra spacing and without using the Banner block?)?
The screenshot or video recording showing how you would like to see it will be helpful.
Thank you in advance!

Marina Kryvenets I know, it's not what I want like I mentioned.
They need to be separate img element in order to add an alt tag or a link for the accessibility.

Ash Hello Ash!
Coming back with some feedback from the development team regarding inline images. The ability to add images next to each other without any indentation is currently not available.
Our team will work on implementing this idea in the nearest future. Thank you for sharing your idea!
Currently it is possible to upload images next to each other:
- Using the Banner block;
- By loading images into the containers of the structure;
- Using the code editor adding custom code: create a table with one row, add cells to it and then add images to them.
