When working on emails with colleagues, the same repetitive steps are needed to involve others in the process.
Current workflow example:
After translating an email (automatically or via a translator), we ask native-speaking colleagues to proofread it. To do this, I have to:
– Copy the email link, go to chat, write a message, and send it.
– If there are multiple languages, I need to open each version, copy the link, and paste it for every colleague (e.g. 10 languages = 10 links).
Proposed solution:
Introduce email statuses/workflows such as: Designing → Translating → Proofreading → Reviewing → Done.
– Changing a status would trigger a notification to the right person (e.g. translators, proofreaders, reviewers).
– Ideally, each language/status could have a default assignee. For example, a user with the role Proofreader and language German would automatically be notified when the DE version is set to Proofreading.
– Language preferences could be defined in team/role settings during user setup or updated later.
This would save time, reduce manual steps, and streamline collaboration across languages.
