Add dark mode styles to different email elements

Would be really great if you could implement dark mode styles to make it possible to control how the email look in different email clients with dark mode.
Of course, email clients behave differently as always but now there are already enough possibilities to give control to some elements. For example:
– Override dark mode background colors
– Show-hide images for dark mode
– etc.
– It is even available for AMP emails (https://dev.to/bdjang/exploring-dark-mode-in-amp-email-5gm7)
I'm pretty sure your team has already explored this topic. Maybe you have some plans for that (or have reasons to to implement it for now)?

I see this is marked as planned in January of this year. I just want to note that it's a feature that would still be greatly appreciated. My team of ten would really love it. According to an article Stripo posted in Jan, up to 41% of opens happen in dark mode. I think this is not just a "nice-to-have" feature, but a "need-to-have" feature. Currently, I'm having to add code in post.

I have an additional comment:
Maybe first and basic feature for dark-mode elements would be "Keep the same color in dark mode".
By default, every email client inverts the colors in its own way. And often it makes your email look worse. Having a checkbox next to the color field "Use the same color in dark mode" would be very convenient for background/text/button etc. colors

Hello Vladimir,
Thanks for reaching out.
Yes, you are right the dark mode is already in the development ideas, but the implementation date is currently unknown.
Thank you for raising important questions. Have a nice reso of your day.
